Three men had turned up at Soo’s stall around noon, two of them were armed with pistols. One fired a warning shot in the air before ordering about 30 customers to hand over their wallets and valuables. While one of the robbers went around collecting the items from the customers using a plastic bag, the two armed men stood guard.
Soo Lee Choo(46) had walked out from the kitchen, splashed hot soup onto one of the robbers. On seeing this, some customers dashed towards the robbers and tried to fight them off.
During the commotion, Soo was shot several times. The robbers then fled in a getaway vehicle driven by an accomplice. What is this country coming to. Will we need to get arms to protect ourselfs?
