The word wuxia fiction is translated as martial-chivalric fiction. The simplest way to describe this genre is to define it as Chinese swords and sorcery. Most people become familiar with wuxia, through films such as A Chinese Ghost Story, Swordsman and Zu.
Recently out of curiosity, I research some story background and found them to be sourced from work of Jin Yong. After some searches found English translation of these novels. After some reading, I found them amazingly refreshing with their endless plots and martial prowess. Enjoy!
